Well, hello there!

It's been a while since I've posted on this blog! My photo journey through 2010 was a blast, but now 2011 is already half over, and I have not posted once! I guess that shows a character trait of mine--I'm perseverant when I make a point to be, and not so much when I don't mean to be! Hopefully all of you who followed my photos will still want to follow even if there are less photos to look at :)

This past spring semester was a difficult one, but I feel like I say that every semester! Somehow I managed to make all A's though, so I was incredibly happy about that! I got home from school and literally did nothing the first 2 weeks to let my brain relax some, and I spent most of my time reading books that were NOT academic! But, of course, I could not do that all summer!

My oldest brother, Jameson, was married on May 29th to his beautiful bride Tara. It was a lovely (HOT) wedding in Pennsylvania (seriously we brought the Florida heat with us!!). Here are the new siblings (missing Jessica):

I have been working this summer two different jobs (well really 3, but I'll explain the third in a bit), both fulfilling in their own ways. I nanny two beautiful children 2-3 times a week, and I work at Florida Hospital for Children 3 days a week in the pediatric surgery ward.

Check out the new Disney Pavilion at FH where I get to work! It is such an amazing addition to the hospital! http://www.floridahospitalforchildren.com/

I have been loving both experiences; and am excited in the ways that God is bringing all the pieces together. My 3rd "job" is studying for the MCAT...I am not as excited about this job as the other two, let's just put it that way. I have always been a anxious test-taker, and never have done well on standardized tests (particularly the multiple choice kind), but I continually reassure myself that God will work out this hurdle as well.

My goal is to continue to share stories from my summer and the way God is giving me so many great opportunities for my future in medicine!
