Day 342
We all got up (some of us stayed up) at 3:00 in the morning to see the eclipse!! The first eclipse on the winter solstice since the 1600's!! Momma and I commented on how it's really only during an eclipse that the moon looks like a 3D object, it just looks like a marble in the sky. Beautiful!

Day 332
My earliest memories of Christmas mornings were not of gifts or stockings, but running down the stairs to see if Baby Jesus was born yet. My mom would wait until Christmas morning to put the wooden baby in this nativity, and when I was little and didn't the know the days of the month, this was how I knew it was Christmas morning! It was so exciting...and still is!

Day 330
Home for Christmas!
I love our gingerbread house, it is simple, clean, beautiful. I don't need lights on every surface of the outside of the house. I don't need to pretend it snows and have icicles. I don't need inflatable Santas, or lit-up moveable reindeer. I just love color! And I love our simple Christmas house. It will always hold a special place in my heart. Always.

Day 309
I know I never really write on here, I just post pictures, but today my infectious diseases lab was cancelled...wanna know why? My professor (who is also a veterinarian) had to go save a dolphin's life! Yep, that's right. She is like Wonder Woman, or maybe a modern day St. Francis. Your choice. Either way, I think that's a pretty cool excuse for canceling lab, and I mean, how often can you say "Oh yea, well my professor had to go save a dolphin...so no class" :) Not too often!
In other news, I am slowly coming to the realization that I have almost completed Project 365! I do realize that I still have over 50 days left, but seriously, that's not that many! What will I do with myself--and for that matter, what will I do with this blog?? I may have to actually start blogging on it! :)
